As our STAT Surgical Neuro Nurse at Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

Responsibilities

  • Provides assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for patients from adolescent to geriatric.

  • Handles patients with more complex situations with assistance and supervision.

  • Assists with managing patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff.

  • Assumes responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.

  • 9 months RN experience.

  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.

  • Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.

  • 1 year acute care experience

  • American Heart Association Advanced Pediatric Life Support

Pay Range

$41.61 - $41.61 /hour
