Excellent Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Prescott, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ)
Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our established and growing practice in Prescott, AZ. Under direction from the CMO, the candidate provides patient care in an outpatient setting by diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases, performing patient exams, ordering or conducting diagnostic testing, and developing ongoing treatment and disease-management plans. In this role, the candidate will also prescribe medication and coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early-detection screenings and maintain accurate patient records and charts. Effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration is crucial.

Is board certified or board eligible in their specialty.

Responsibilities
EMR: Cerner
Patient populations: Geriatric, 18+, no inpatient
Typical work week (hours worked; hospital vs. clinic) - No hospital, 4- 10hr shifts with 18 patients per day.
Procedures - PAPs (Women's health), suturing, cyst removal, wound care, EKG’s,etc.
Call: On call up 3 times per month and the days of the week vary. Weekends are 24 hr call and weekdays are 5-8am on-call
No Shift call- just after hours on-call
Additional Practice details: Practice looking for a support practitioner to do acute visits, annual wellness, and ER follow ups. This position will not have a panel but will be required to assist all providers in the office
Qualifications
Current Board Certification
Valid medical license
Valid DEA certificate
2+ years’ IM experience
Pay Range
$52.57 - $67.85 /hour
