Security Officer - Dispatcher
Job Summary /Purpose:
Security Officer-Dispatcher contributes to the Core Values of CHI Health by
providing each of the officers with concise, accurate and timely information
necessary for the officers at the campuses to perform their duties safely and
Answers calls for security services for all CHI
Health hospitals, clinics and support buildings in the Omaha/Council Bluffs
Monitors alarms and activates a response for all CHI
Health hospitals and some clinics and support buildings in the Omaha/Council
Bluffs metro area.
Operates audio/visual monitoring systems and access
control systems, then dispatches officers accordingly.
Performs timely communication with all members of the
security, nursing leadership to assist with successful and efficient decision
making within the organization. Keeps
Security leaders informed of relevant events.
Responsible for all aspects of the Security department
communications, including alarms, pages and requests for assistance.
responsibility for person and professional growth through participation in department
meetings, in-service programs and continuing education.
- High School Education
RequiredLicense / Certification:
- BLS is required upon hire – must belicensed through the American Heart Association
High SchoolDiploma or GED
3 years security,law enforcement or related experience
1 year in acommunications center
