Scheduled Hours per 2 week Pay Period: 80


Acts as first point of contact for providers for

application implementations, upgrades and support for employed and affiliated

providers. Assists with testing systems and applications before implementation

into production. Troubleshoots and reports system and application issues for

providers communicating back with resolutions. Educates providers on system functionality

and capability through at- the-elbow support. Maintains accurate and timely

reporting on all provider interactions

  • Responsible for rounding daily: Anticipate, understand andrespond to provider needs as well as documenting all support interactions inCRM application (70 - 80%)

  • Works with providers on adoption and optimization of applications.

  • Provides Level 1 and 2 Provider support for day-to-dayproduction issues, maintaining documentation in the appropriate trackingsystems while adhering to prescribed escalation & change controlprocedures.

  • Escalate issues as necessary to the Service Desk and/orSupervisor.

  • Communicates issues and concerns in a clear, concise and timelymanner to appropriate parties.

  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with providers.

  • Provides primary support to physicians, and at times support tosuper user groups/clinics.

  • Evaluates IT application updates and revisions, cascadinginformation to providers.

  • Assists with performing application changes as trained andapplicable.

  • Promotes use of information technology with physicians.

  • Provides communication between physicians and IT.

  • Proactively identifies and evaluates provider needs related to ITand IT resources.

  • Provide one-on-one training and ongoing system optimizationtraining

  • Proactively ensure physician devices (hardware) and applicationsare functioning properly.

  • Supports standardization of documentation and the integration ofapplicable standards and practices.

  • Responsible for identifying and communicating training materialneeds.

  • Responsible for weekly status reports

  • Responsible for opening and managing tickets on behalf of theproviders

  • Collaborates with other ITS support staff to enhance physiciansatisfaction and facilitates adoption of IT systems

  • Works as physician advocate with IT and site leadership.

  • May require on-call and occasional weekend responsibilities.

  • Additional tasks/responsibilities as defined.


  • Associates Degree in a related field or may substitute anequivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 years experience with computer information systems, providingsupport to users or equivalent experience as a business analyst or super user.

  • Knowledge of systems and application support.

  • Knowledge of ITIL environments.

  • Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
