Responsibilities

The RN is responsible for the delivery of excellence in patient care in the Transplant Clinic through assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses and establishing goals, planning and implementing intervention and evaluating patient care outcomes. With the staff nurse's professional practice he/she responsible for participating in and maintaining quality, cost effectiveness and guest relations. Provide patient care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures and the standards of professional nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.

Qualifications

Education and Licensure Required:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire (must be enrolled in a program). "Current employees grandfathered before July 2020.”

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years of registered nursing experience

  • CKD / or Dialysis and Transplant experience

  • Epic proficiency

  • Bilingual speaking Spanish

Pay Range

$32.08 - $46.51 /hour
